A Sidekick can increase your independence!
Sidekick Hearing and Service Dogs, Inc provides trained hearing and service dogs to people with disabilities. Our dogs are trained to perform physical tasks that mitigate their handlers’ disabilities. We train the following types of service dogs: mobility, balance, hearing, medical response, psychiatric, autism, and dual purpose dogs.
We train assistance dogs for adults and children aged 12 and older, depending on maturity level.
Some tasks that a Sidekick can be trained to do include: alerting to sounds, picking up dropped items, opening doors, guiding a disoriented handler, turning on lights, and more!
